The cumulative last ten days rainfall,temperature and RH varied from 49-217 mm,24-32 C and 87-90% among the major growing districts Banaskantha, Kachchh, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Junagarh, Rajkot, Suredranagar, Ahemdabad, Kheda, Gandhinagar and Vadodara.
The weather conditions are favorable for the initiation of racemes .
Rajasthan
Among the major growing districts ( Hanumamgarh, Jodhpur, Barmer, Pali, Jalor and Sirohi) the widespread rainfall,temperature and RH from 11-94mm,20-35 C and 80-86% The mild rainfall and humid hot condition are favourable for the growth and development the crop.
Tamil Nadu
Among the major growing districts Vellore, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Namakkal and Tiruchchirappalli the rainfall,temperature and RH varies from 17-49mm,20-24 C and 80-85%. The rainfall,mild temperature and humidity are beneficial for the flowering pollination and fruit development.
Karnataka
High rainfall,temperature and RH received for the last ten days 63-300mm,20-26 C and 84-94 % among the districts Bellary, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Hassan, Mandya, Mysore and Bangalore and moderate climate is favourable for the receme development ,flowering and fruit development. However, excess rain water should not stagnate in the standing crop and it should be drained out.
Andhra Pradesh
The widespread rainfall,temperature and RH received 94-171mm,22-31 C and 76-89% in Karimganj, Medak, Rangareddy, Warangal, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Guntur and Prakasam. The weather conditions are favorable for receme development , flowering ,pollination and fruit development.
Maharasthra
Among the major districts Nashik, Aurangabad, Beed, Nanded, Amravati and Wardha rainfall,temperature and RH received for the last ten days were 71-162mm , 21-31 C and 89-91 %. The prevailing weather condition are congenial for raceme development,flowering ,pollination and fruit development.
Orrisa
Among the major districts Valangir, Angul, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Gajpati, Pulbani, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Koratput and Navrangapur rainfall,temperature and RH received for the last ten days were 37-91mm,23-31 C and 80-85 %. The weather conditions are favorable for the growth and development of the crop.
