Consimpex supplied, integrated & installed 20
systems of Ultrasonic High Wind Speed Recording Systems (HWSR's) at 20
locations in the East & West coasts of India
as a Turn-key contract. Consimpex was the prime bidder for this World Bank project
in which the State of Art Ultrasonic
Sensors from Gill Instruments, UK were installed and integrated with Data
Logger & Display Unit from
Observator B.V into the Computer System providing wind speed and wind directions.
Some of the critical locations
where the HWSR’s have been installed are Karaikal, Pondicherry, Ongole, Nellore, Machilipatnam, Vishakapatnam, Balasore, Paradip Digha, Puri etc. The HWSR System with Ultrasonic Wind Sensors can
measure wind Speed upto 65 meters/sec and is an important system for Cyclone prone
area.
