Consimpex successfully  established  the prestigious INDO-US Satellite Data Exchange Centre at the India Meteorological Department  at Mausam Bhawan New Delhi. Under the INDO-US MOU signed in 1998 between Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Space (DOS)and  the NASA and NOAA from the US Government a Satellite Data Exchange Centre has been established for exchange of INSAT real-time Data with GOES real-time data between India and US.

BK Consimpex was awarded the contract to supply and establish the Indian site of the Satellite Data Exchange center  at New Delhi which was established successfully together with engineers from NASA, NOAA,IMD & BK Consimpex. The project is already in its 4th  year of inception and NASA has appointed BK Consimpex as their  System Administrator for this project for Indian site.

The Centre is  a fully operational site where the INSAT  & GOES  images are exchanged bit-by bit  on near real-time basis 24 hours a day  on  point to point Link between Delhi & Washington D.C. Consimpex is administering the Delhi site on daily basis ensuring trouble free data exchange.
